Poetic is a lifestyle accessory brand, based out of San Francisco, that needed a complete Branding and Identity rehaul. We worked closely with the in-house team and the founder to come up with their new identity based on the iconic city of San Francisco. The city has been home to Poetic for a long time and the team, including the founder, were quite taken by the city and its charms. The brand name signified a juxtaposition which we found very interesting.
"LOVE FROM San Francisco" was the center of the brand campaign as we wanted to convey how much care and concern the niche team of professionals at Poetic showed for their city, their brand and their products.
The headquarters of the brand is in San Francisco and their products are sold globally. We wanted to highlight the values and charm of the city and therefore for this campaign, we designed the products and packaging with the phrase "LOVE FROM SAN FRANCISCO". This created a sense of emotional connect for their consumers globally and increased their brand awareness. The color palette was inspired by the waters of the San Francisco bay and the letter ‘P’ logo was inspired by the Golden Gate bridge’s naturally formed crest at the top. The typeface was chosen to have a clean and modern outlook. We also created the guidelines for the branding to be consistent through all the collateral created physically, and digitally thereby defining and establishing a focused product language.
