Bplugd approached Artifact Design to create an identity which would seamlessly transcend international borders using their proprietary server tech and also be connected at all times. We built a modular ecosystem around which the consumer could perform various functionalities with ease and efficiency. The brand concept influenced a lot of the product DNA to keep together a cohesive outlook and a consistent message to the customers.
Understanding that the company was a startup with a fantastic tech, we strategized to brand the company around the concept of connectivity. Instead of creating an identity based on common connectivity visuals, we chose to go in the direction of a sports and lifestyle brand, thus enhancing the overall image of the brand and to provide a clear message to the consumers of their identity.
The branding strategy clarified Bplugd’s focus and its roadmap thus resulting in a Series-A funding along with a major distribution deal. The brand was very well received by their distributors throughout, as well as by their new customers which resulted in a slew of orders.
